Five central Ohio Big Lots stores are scheduled to reopen in May.
The Reynoldsburg store, located at 6300 E. Livingston Ave., will reopen on May 1.
Stores located at 4260 W. Broad St. and 2837 Winchester Pike in Columbus, as well as stores at 3961 Hoover Rd. in Grove City and 1700 E. Main St. in Lancaster will reopen May 15.
North Carolina-based Variety Wholesalers took over 219 Big Lots locations after a 2024 bankruptcy and acquisition deal.
Columbus-based Big Lots filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in September.
Another 23 Big Lots stores in other parts of Ohio will reopen in May and June.
Nine locations reopened April 10 in six states, including three in Tennessee.
Variety Wholesalers' portfolio includes brands such as Roses, Roses Express and Maxway.
