OhioHealth plans to spend at least $200 million to expand Dublin Methodist Hospital and add 200 jobs.

OhioHealth said that while plans aren't final, the company plans to add inpatient beds while increasing the size of the first and second floors. The hospital currently has 92 beds.

There are also plans to add a Level 3 trauma center by 2025. If approved in 2025, it will be the only Level 3 trauma center in the northwest region of central Ohio.

Philanthropic and community support will help pay for the project.

Construction is set to begin in 2026 with completion scheduled by early 2030.

OhioHealth said that it is expanding to keep up with growth in Dublin and central Ohio.

OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital opened in 2008.

In recent years, Ohio State University's Wexner Medical Center has opened an outpatient center in Dublin and Mount Carmel is building a hospital at Interstate 270 and Sawmill Road.
