The 18-county Columbus region set an all-time high for median home sales price in May: $330,000.

That's according to Columbus Realtors.

The new high tops the previous mark of $322,205 from June 2023.

Columbus Realtors President Scott Hrabcak said in a statement that he doesn't expect prices will be dropping any time soon.

"There's no question the steady rise in the price of homes is a trend we are monitoring closely in central Ohio," Hrabcak said.

The highest median sales price in Franklin County was New Albany at $1.02 million.

That was followed by Bexley ($750,000), German Village ($695,125), Grandview Heights ($638,450), Dublin ($625,000) and Upper Arlington ($612,500).

Whitehall had the lowest median sales price at $205,000.

By county, Delaware County continued to have the highest median sales price at $503,000, followed by Union ($439,448), Fairfield ($353,000), Pickaway ($347,900) and Franklin and Licking, with both at $330,000.

The Clintonville/Beechwold neighborhood in Columbus saw a 31% increase in sales closings year-over-year.

Realtors communications director Craig Hicks said home prices often peak during the summer months.
