Two Bach concertos headline this weekend's ProMusica Chamber Orchestra concerts.
Violinist Vadim Gluzman performs Bach's Concerto No. 2 in E major for Violin and String Orchestra as creative partner and principal guest artist. Then violinist Alina Kobialka joins Gluzman for the famous Bach Double, as it is popularly known.
I first heard Kobialka perform last summer at the North Shore Chamber Music Festival, presented each year by Gluzman and his wife, pianist Angela Yoffe. Little did I know Kobialka would be on the stage of the Southern Theatre so quickly.
I spoke with Gluzman and Kobialka during rehearsals.
