ProMusica Chamber Orchestra closed out the 2015-2016 season with two of classical music's greatest masterpieces...Prokofiev’s Violin Concerto No. 2 and Schubert’s Symphony No. 9, also known as simply, The Great.
Vadim Gluzman, ProMusica's Creative Partner and Principal Guest Artist, teamed with PMCO Music Director David Danzmayr in a riveting performance of the Prokofiev. If you attended ProMusica's concerts in December, you will certainly remember the electric performance by of Vivaldi's Four Seasons by Vadim and ProMusica. This was also a don't-miss season finale!
In a conversation with PMCO Music Director David Danzmayr, we spoke about performing with Vadim Gluzman...AND what it takes to make the Prokofiev Violin Concerto No. 2 come alive.
