Ohio Progressive Asian Women’s Leadership

The social justice organization OPAWL, Ohio Progressive Asian Women’s Leadership, is giving voice to immigrants and children of immigrants with a storytelling campaign called "Love Has No Borders," where those affected by the U.S. immigration system can share their personal stories and affect change.

As racism and violence against the Asian American and Pacific Islander community has amplified due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so have the voices of local advocates. But what happens after the pandemic dies down? Local organizations spoke about how they hope to keep the momentum they've gained from the Stop Asian Hate movement in a post-COVID world.
