Some of the groups challenging Republican-drawn state legislative district maps in the Ohio Supreme Court are voicing their opposition to a federal court decision that would allow Republicans to implement maps that were already ruled unconstitutional.

It's up to House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) to call for a new Ohio Redistricting Commission meeting but at this point no one knows when or even if that meeting will happen.

Several voter rights groups are gearing up for a big fight in the Ohio Supreme Court Wednesday morning. The court will hear arguments on the new state legislative maps approved by Republican members of the Ohio Redistricting Commission.

This makes the third legal challenge to maps approved on a party-line vote by the Ohio Redistricting Commission.
