Republican defense attorney John Rutan is running against Democratic Columbus City Councilwoman Shayla Favor to be the next Franklin County Prosecutor.

The next county prosecutor will either be Democrat Shayla Favor or Republican John Rutan. Both agree the policy of appointing special prosecutors needs to be clearer, but only one has taken a stance thus far.
