Emily Foster

Michael J. Brooks II was arrested in Fayette County, Georgia after he was shot by a homeowner police say he was burglarizing. Columbus police identified Brooks as a suspect in Emily Foster's fatal stabbing with surveillance footage and evidence left at the scene.

Emily Foster moved into her home on Iuka Avenue in 1972. She wrote a book on the history of the University District, which she called "a neighborhood of neighborhoods."
