I’m guessing none of us thought we’d ever be quarantined in the midst of a pandemic, but here we are.

Like many people, my Classical 101 colleagues and I are working from home these days.

And we miss you.

That’s why we created Quarantine Classics, Classical 101’s Facebook video series designed to help you weather this health crisis with beautiful, uplifting, calming music.

Each day your Classical 101 hosts will post fun video messages and video of great performances of the music you love.

The idea is to be with you and to inspire you.

And to have some fun! Check out the first episode of Quarantine Classics, which explores a fun and funky piece of music - complete with castanets!

Watch Classical 101’s Facebook page for new episodes of Quarantine Classics. And above all, stay healthy.

Jennifer Hambrick unites her extensive backgrounds in the arts and media and her deep roots in Columbus to bring inspiring music to central Ohio as Classical 101’s midday host. Jennifer performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Orchestra of Chicago before earning a Ph.D. in musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
