Black women are often seen as the backbone of the Democratic Party. When candidates need that extra boost at the voting booth, they’re expected to work their “Black girl magic” to get that candidate elected to office.
When Black women run for office, however, they often encounter a number of hurdles and barriers. We’ll look at a new training program being created to help Black women candidates.
