Record-Breaking Women in Congress

Women are breaking records for political leadership in the U.S. after the latest election cycle. With results still coming in, at least 118 women will serve in the 116th Congress come the start of the new year.

The next Congress will also feature a record number of women of color, the first Native American and Muslim women, and the youngest woman ever elected to a congressional seat.
