The White House is steeped in controversy following President Donald Trump’s statements about Russia’s involvement in the 2016 presidential election.
In a joint press conference with Russian president Vladimir Putin, Trump said he didn’t believe Russia interfered with the election. This contrasted the Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats' findings from the investigation into possible Russian interference.
The next day, he backtracked his statements claiming he misspoke during the Helsinki press conference. But later that same day, Trump said he didn’t think Russia was targeting U.S. elections.
Today on All Sides we’ll discuss the impact of Trump’s several statements regarding Russia. We’ll also talk about Congressional race in Ohio’s 12th district.
