Larissa Mulder
Classical InternLarissa is an avid reader, writer, and musician working as an intern for classical. She is a PhD student and graduate teaching associate in the ethnomusicology department at The Ohio State University.
Her research focuses on music, emotions, and identity. She is currently studying the practice of lament in Irish vocal music, considering broader global implications of these performances. She has also published on music and national identity in Ecuador and folk music as a platform for social rights messages in the 60s.
In her free time, Larissa enjoys traveling far and wide and discovering as much good food as possible.
