Cleveland Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert, 57, suffered a stroke and was hospitalized early on Sunday. Gilbert's current condtiton and the stroke were confirmed late Monday. Press reports initially said Gilbert, founder and chairman of Quicken Loans, was experiencing "stroke-like symptoms" and had been admitted to the Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital in suburban Detroit but offered no additional information.

Elizabeth Lecron of Toledo, Ohio, was arrested on Monday after a months-long investigation by the Northwest Ohio Terrorism Joint Task Force as she allegedly planned pipe bomb attacks against multiple targets in the Toledo area and elsewhere. An unidentified member of the public tipped off law enforcement of Lecron's plans, and authorities tracked her activity over several months, according to FBI Special Agent in Charge Jeff Fortunato.

Damon Joseph, 21, was arrested at 6 p.m. on Friday in Holland, Ohio, on a charge of attempting to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization, specifically ISIS, as he planned attacks on two synagogues and expressed a desire to kill a rabbi, according to the FBI.

Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Judge John Russo announced Monday that he is recusing himself from final sentencing of 32-year-old Franklyn Williams. During a hearing on July 31, after what Judge Russo said were 60 interruptions by Williams during a 54 minute hearing, Russo ordered Williams' mouth duct taped. "In retrospect, while there is legal precedent for gagging a defendant to keep order in the court, I apologize for taking that action last week," Russo said.
