A suspect has been arrested and charged in the April murder of a 13-year-old boy in North Linden.
Franklin County Municipal Court documents state 20-year-old Jaivon Jones, of Columbus, shot and killed 13-year-old Angel Salguero Diaz on the night of April 14.
The teen was found shot in the back in an alley off East Hudson Street. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Columbus police allege Jones shot Diaz in the back from a Ford SUV. Police said a camera recorded the shots being fired from the vehicle and there was also an eyewitness to the crime.
Jones was arraigned Thursday on one charge of murder.
