What Do You Want To Know About Guns In Ohio?

After two mass shootings in Dayton and El Paso, Texas, the public conversation has turned once again to guns – and what legislators can do to reduce gun violence.

Gov. Mike DeWine is suggesting Ohio pass a “red flag law” to take weapons away from people considered threats, expand background checks for gun purchases, and extend resources for mental health care. Some Republicans and Democrats have called for a federal ban on assault weapons, as well.

But the impact of guns on people's lives extends beyond the General Assembly, and firearms remain a controversial and divisive topic in Ohio. That's why WOSU wants to hear from you.
