Columbus Police have identified a man killed by police after officers say he fatally stabbed three others.
Police say Abadi Gebregziber, 64, died at Riverside Hospital not long after being shot by an officer at the Summit Park Apartments complex on Walford Street Monday morning. Police say Gebregziber was armed with a knife and was stunned with a Taser before being shot.
Gebregziber is accused of killing Azeb Demewez, 33; Selam Habte, 18; and Russom Habte, 19. Police say Gebregziber stabbed another woman who remains in life-threatening condition.
A day and a half after the Monday attack, Columbus police shot another man accused in a knife attack. Both the alleged attack and victim in that incident are expected to survive.
