The Franklin County Sheriff's Office is investigating a potential murder-suicide.

According to Public Information Officer Marc Gofstein, deputies responded to a 911 call Tuesday morning indicating a shooting in Franklin Township. Two people died.

When officers arrived on scene, one person was dead. Another was transported to Mount Carmel Health and later pronounced dead.

The sheriff's office is working on notifying next of kin before releasing the names of who died.
