Former Dublin Scioto Teacher Facing Child Pornography Charges

Gregory Lee

Dublin parents plan to ask a lot of questions at next week's school board meeting about a former teacher facing federal child pornography charges. They're organizing through the Facebook group "Dublin Residents against Sexual Harassment in our Schools."

Former Dublin Scioto High School teacher Gregory Lee's personnel file shows many complaints of inappropriate behavior over two decades.

The personnel file is 283 pages long. It lists multiple accusations of the 52-year-old teacher interacting inappropriately with students.

During a separate investigation that began in April, the mother of a 15-year-old student told Dublin Police the student and Lee exchanged nude photos and videos hundreds of times and had sex in his classroom multiple times.

In 2003, Lee was forced to resign as the girls cross country and track coach, citing inappropriate physical contact with student athletes. In 2010, he was suspended for two days for "misconduct with a female student, including inappropriate touching."

Dublin City Schools denied WOSU's interview request, but a spokesman said statements will be made at the Board of Education meeting Monday. Lee resigned May 1 for "personal reasons."

He is being investigated by the Dublin Police and FBI Child Exploitation Task Force.
