The Capital Area Humane Society in Hilliard closed on Saturday due to water damage from burst pipes, none of the animals housed at the facility were harmed.
The humane society's facility suffered significant water damage after a pipe burst in second floor, according to its Facebook page.
The damage was impacted the training, lobby and retail areas of the facility. The water did not affect the area where the animals are kept and all are reported safe.
All volunteer shifts are canceled until further notice.
