Columbus Police say police and fire officials responded to an alarming number of opiate overdoses in a relatively-small area on Sunday.
Police say the overdoses were clustered on the city's east side within a short distance of each other.
Police say at least nine people overdosed, including two who did not survive.
Police say they'll release more information later Monday.
