A group of 25 Senior Pastors and Bishops have requested a separate investigation into the death of Henry Green.

Activists and community leaders will gather tomorrow at the Franklin County Courthouse to demand justice for Henry Green, a young man who was fatally shot by police last week.

Columbus police said that Green was shot after officers saw him with a gun and he refused their orders to drop it.

A group of 25 bishops and pastors gathered Tuesday to request that the office of Mayor Andrew Ginther conduct a separate investigation into the matter.

A member of the group, Pastor Dale B. Snyder, says conflicting information was brought forward by the family and eye witnesses. This has compelled the community to demand more transparency. Columbus Police said they acknowledge the request but refused to comment on the open investigation.
