A judge in Marietta, Ohio showed how serious he is about jury duty by citing more than 4 dozen potential jurors who never showed up to court in the fall.

The trial involved a 1981 cold case regarding a former deputy charged with the shotgun killing of an ex-colleague.

Judge Randall Burnworth oversaw the proceedings.
