Dozens of fire trucks were on the scene of a west Columbus warehouse fire that led to most of the building collapsing early Monday morning.
Fire Battalion Chief Tracy Smith says the first responders noticed smoke coming from the building off of Fisher Road.
"When we made it a working fire, crews went inside and found out they had heavy heat above them and then noticed they had heavy fire in the rear of the building, so they had to withdraw," Smith said.
Smith said about 70 percent of the building had collapsed by 7 am. No injuries were reported.
