University of Cincinnati officials plan to provide an update on efforts to make crime and safety changes in the aftermath of an officer's fatal shooting of a suspect.

The southwest Ohio school's Office of Safety and Reform has scheduled a Tuesday forum on campus. Officials say those attending can ask questions and provide input on the issues.

Crime and safety have been a special focus at the campus since July 19, when UC police Officer Ray Tensing fatally shot Samuel DuBose after a traffic stop.

Tensing has pleaded not guilty to murder and voluntary manslaughter charges. The university fired him after his indictment.

The school pledged to make reforms in its policing and has restructured its leadership for public safety.
