OSU Renews Charges Against Fired Band Director

Ohio State today reiterated its charges against fired Marching Band Director Jon Waters. In a written statement, University officials said Waters has failed to produce any factual examples that demonstrate any tangible attempts to change the band culture. The statement also says Waters was not forthcoming or truthful with University personnel on several occasions. Waters appeared today on two national morning news programs to express his disappointment in the investigation that led to his termination. He called the University's two month probe one-sided. Waters says he wants his job back and will keep trying to fix the culture issues that led to his dismissal.
