Second Saturday Kids Days are free events that take place in the Ross Community Studio at the WOSU headquarters. At each Second Saturday event, children will experience learning through characters they already know and love and explore themes that combine imagination, interaction and technology to investigate art, science, math and reading.

Follow your curiosity at the next Second Saturday Kids Day! This month we are partnering with the Central Ohio Beekeepers Association to have exciting hands on learning experiences and activities. Meet special guest Cat in the Hat from the hit PBS show The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That, make a kazoo, and more!

Activities include:

  • Make a kazoo
  • See an observation hive
  • Tools of the Trade station
  • Color
  • Airbrush artist
  • Book Nook
  • Meet and Greet with the Cat in the Hat

Materials may be limited and activities are on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is free, but advance registration is required.

Please note, there is NO visitor parking in any of the paved surface or gravel lots adjacent to/behind the WOSU building. If you park in any of these spaces, you may be towed.

WOSU does not validate parking.

N. Pearl St. (the cobbled street adjacent to WOSU) is one way North to South. Please do not arrange curbside pick-up or drop-off of guests on N. Pearl St.

We suggest
the Ohio Untion South Garage at 1759 N High St, Columbus, OH 43210 for nearest access (see map below).

ADA accessible parking spaces are available in all garages and most surface lots across campus. Paid hourly parking and the display of a state-issued disability placard are required to use an accessible space.
