PBS LearningMedia
PBS LearningMedia is a one-stop-shop for educational resources for PreK-12 learners and their families. You can research any number of topics by typing keywords into the search box, or simply selecting a topic and grade-level.
Every resource is vetted by PBS educators, and most resources are accompanied by additional materials such as quizzes, activities, or discussion questions. The site also shows which national and state standards align with the resource. The site is also aligned to your local PBS member station, WOSU, so you’ll see our events and notices at the bottom of the homepage.
PBS Learning Goals
Check out this handy guide of PBS KIDS Learning Goals, which shows how each PBS KIDS show helps your child learn and grow. This chart breaks down the topics and subjects covered by each program, as well as the age range for the target audience, making it easier for you to integrate PBS KIDS programs into your child’s learning routine. You can watch episodes of each show, and find associated learning activities at pbskids.org.
At-Home Learning eNews
Since schools and childcare centers were closed in March 2020, WOSU Classroom has been sending out an at-home learning newsletter for educators and families to help keep children engaged and learning during their extended time at home. These weekly newsletters are sent out every Monday morning and feature easy-to-implement enrichment activities and learning resources for families. They also include articles and resources for parents, caregivers, and educators.

PBS Parents
PBS Parents is an excellent resource for parents and caregivers to find educational resources for their families. You’ll find articles and webinars on parenting, education, and growth written by the trusted experts and parents at PBS. They also have a fantastic interactive feature that helps caregivers track their children’s milestones from age 2 through 8 so families can help their children grow and learn at their own pace.
Sesame Street in Communities
Sesame Street in Communities is a great website for parents, families, and childcare providers to find resources for nurturing children’s physical and mental health. On this site, you’ll find fun learning activities for kids, articles full of helpful tips for caregivers, and webinars that connect you with experts that can help with a wide range of issues.

Family Screen-time Tips
The internet is full of many fun and engaging educational apps, games, and content for students of all ages. However, too much of a good thing can cause some unintended consequences. We’ve collected resources to help families ensure that they’re not overdoing it with technology use and that they’re making the most of their educational screentime:
