COLUMBUS, OHIO, JUNE 24, 2021 – WOSU Public Media has hired Marcus Charleston as the senior producer for All Sides with Ann Fisher. Marcus began his public radio career at WHYY in Philadelphia. He helped to launch the daily program Midday at WYPR in Baltimore. In Pittsburgh he produced the flagship public affairs program Essential Pittsburgh, and its replacement The Confluence. Most recently he was a senior producer for the daily public affairs program The Show at KJZZ in Phoenix.
“I have worked as a producer and reporter for public radio stations in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Phoenix,” Charleston said. “Now, I’m excited to bring my years of experience and strong storytelling, interviewing and writing skills to Columbus. I’ve enjoyed producing daily public affairs programs covering news, newsmakers and the arts for years. I very much respect what I hear on All Sides and look forward to working closely with Ann Fisher and the team moving forward.”
