Carrie Beyer Joins WOSU Public Media As Producer of Popular TV Series “Broad & High”
COLUMBUS, OHIO, OCTOBER 27, 2021 – WOSU Public Media has hired Carrie Beyer as producer of the local TV series Broad & High. Beyer came to Columbus in 1987 to attend OSU and never left. She has worked for The Ohio State University and OSU Wexner Medical Center for over 22 years and also has taught in the Interactive Media Department at Columbus State Community College.
“This is truly a dream job for me!” Beyer said. “Working in public media and helping creatives and community members tell their stories is an honor. As an added bonus, I get to work with such a talented, passionate and compassionate group of people at WOSU.”
“We are just over the moon to have such a seasoned professional and storyteller on board,” said Cindy Gaillard, WOSU content director for television. “Carrie’s work to promote the Wexner Medical Center took her to the frontlines of the latest advances in medical technology and now she is lending that depth of experience to the Broad & High team.”
