Talking Jobs With Ohio’s Next Governor

What do you want to know about the job development plans from Ohio’s next governor?

Both major party candidates for governor on the November ballot, Democrat Richard Cordray and Republican Mike DeWine answered questions about education, jobs and the future of work in Ohio through a livestream on Thursday, October 4.

Specifically intended for young people ages 16-26, the forum invited students and young job-seekers across the state to submit questions and hear, first-hand, about the issues that will affect their future.

This was a candidate forum, not a debate. Each candidate will have a separate conversation with the host and each candidate will have approximately 45 minutes to answer questions asked by the online audience as well as a studio audience of high school students and young adults in Cleveland.
