Looking Up: The Great Conjunction

sfcollege.edu

In astronomy, a conjunction is when two astral objects appear to us as being next to, or very close to one another. Coming in December is what’s being referred to as the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter, and it will be their closest approach since 1632.

Our friend James Albury, director of the Kika Silva Pla Planetarium at Santa Fe College and Dean’s former co-host of Star Gazers is a huge conjunction fan so we had to talk with him about the Great Conjunction as well as his YouTube series, The Sky Above Us
