New Year, New Name, New Perks!

Dear Educators,

The new year is bringing a wonderful change for WOSU Public Media, as well as for you! ITSCO is now WOSU Classroom, and we would like to take this opportunity to explain what that means for you. With ITSCO joining the WOSU family, you are now able to access all of the incredible learning tools that WOSU Public Media provides.

Not only will WOSU Classroom bring you the professional development enrichment of ITSCO, but it will now bring the perks of WOSU TV, 89.7 NPR News, Classical 101 and WOSU Digital.

This year, we will launch the Excellence in Education Awards to recognize outstanding teachers, leaders and school districts in central Ohio. And, the Innovation Mixer will be back in April of 2018, gathering professionals like you from around the state to share their passion for technology and education.

Through WOSU Classroom, you will now have unlimited access to high-quality news, contextualized for K-12 students, through 89.7 NPR News. PBS programming comes to life in the classroom through PBS LearningMedia, a comprehensive online outlet which includes specialized content for each subject, grade, and topic.

PBS LearningMedia also gives you the tools to stay on top of trends in technology and educational innovation, like PBS’s recent collaboration with Remind and Quizlet. Partnerships such as these will help you guide your students and staff through the learning process with more ease than ever, using familiar tools and media. WOSU Classroom will be your resource to stay on the cutting-edge of teaching and training in this New Year and in the future.

We hope you enjoy the many benefits that WOSU Classroom has to offer. As always, stay updated on our website and feel free to reach out to us with any questions or suggestions you may have to make WOSU Classroom even more comprehensive and compelling for you and your students. We wish you all the best in 2018!
