Google Tour Creator
10:00 am – 10:20 am
Presented by Ellen Cahill and Bill Mooney
In 2015 Google launched Google Expeditions that allowed students to explore the world in a VR environment. Now Google has released a product, Google Tour Creator, that will let students tell their own experiences in VR. In this presentation, we will look at the basics of Google Tour Creator and offer suggestions on curriculum integration of this exciting new product.
Implementing Student-Led Workshops
1:00 pm – 1:20 pm
Presented by Elizabeth Curtis
This class will show you how to implement student-led workshops and tutorials that empower learners, encourage creativity and facilitate innovation. You will see examples of how educators can guide students to articulate personal learning goals and give them opportunities to teach their peers. We will also go over a few instrumental tools that make this blended learning process happen, including how to create Podcasts and utilize FlipGrid.
