Our June membership drive, which began on June 3, wraps up on Tuesday evening. We hope our viewers understand that the inconvenience of having their favorite programs interrupted, for this relatively brief time during the year, allows us to continue to bring them the programs they enjoy.

We honestly could not provide the variety of programs throughout the year without our viewers support. So if you’re a member we thank you so much, and if you’re not please give it some thought.

It’s time to get excited about the great summer programs coming to WOSU TV, including some viewer favorites.

The Tunnel

This Friday at 9pm we begin the second season of the British crime drama, The Tunnel. French Commander Elise Wasserman and DCI Karl Roebuck are back together.

This time they take on the investigation of a French couple abducted from the Euro-tunnel, leaving behind their small daughter. The case becomes a bit more complicated when a plane carrying British and French passengers crashes into the Channel killing everyone on board. The Tunnel: Sabotage is eight-part series concludes on Friday, August 4.  Encore presentations will air Sunday evenings at 8pm on our WOSUplus (34.3) service.

Grantchester on Masterpiece

The crime fighting duo of Reverend Sidney Chambers and Inspector Geordie Keating are back! Bringing justice and somewhat, spiritual nourishment to the town of Grantchester. The new season of Grantchester on Masterpiece premieres 9pm Sunday, June 18.

If you remember we left Sidney, and the woman he loves the married and pregnant Amanda, in compromising position.

Our Grantchester viewers might be aware there was a Christmas special broadcast in the U.K. this past December. No worries, you won’t miss this special episode, it happens to be the first episode of the new season for our viewers. So we begin, as you might imagine, the week before Christmas, 1954. Sidney Chambers is busy with his holiday duties, but distracted by an impossible situation he finds himself in with Amanda.

The seven-part Grantchester Season 3 on Masterpiece concludes on Sunday, July 30.

Great British Baking Show

I’ve been getting calls and emails from our viewers asking about the new season of The Great British Baking Show.  Here’s my chance to once again remind you, always check our online schedule for the most up to date and correct program listings for all of our TV services.

WOSU TV will premiere season 4 of The Great British Baking Show on Monday, June 19 at 9pm with two back-to-back episodes. The series will then settle into it’s time slot, Monday’s at 10pm.

So make a note, if you’re looking for The Great British Baking Show on WOSU TV, tune in Monday nights at 10pm.  We’ll also give you plenty of chances to catch any episode you may miss with encore presentations on Tuesday nights at 10pm on our WOSUplus (34.3) service and Saturday’s at 6pm on WOSU TV.

At least you guys are treating him with respect. The rest of PBS is disgusting.

    • GGW1970

You are obviously not watching the same PBS as I am. Every series is fantastic and most well done!

    When does Season 4 start?

Miss Fisher’s mysteries are the most well written and beautifully costumed show on television any country, any genre. I am from New Mexico, (not New and Not Mexico,). I watch this show with my grand daughters and we all love Miss Fisher. To end it at season 3 is totally unreasonable. Let’s get the gang back together and protest, write, blog, twitter or what ever to make them do more. I am a month from being 70, so I will write real letters. Jo White, USA.

      I agree.

Are you the Jo White who put the Mooney family history on the Everything Cherokee website?

Fishers mysteries, season 3 is over. Bummer. I am waiting for season 4. While I am waiting, how about a repeat of 1, 2, & 3. Doc. Martin, as Time Goes by, and Keeping up Appearance, do it. I would love to watch the repeats.
