Downtown Abbey Season 6 Cast

Over the years Masterpiece has presented great dramas and mysteries, but none so captivating as Downton Abbey.  Which makes it a little hard to let go of. So we’d like to give you another chance to experience the final season with a Downton Abbey: The Final Season marathon Sunday, March 19 beginning at 10am on WOSU TV.

Since its debut on Masterpiece in 2011, Downton Abbey holds the title of the top PBS drama of all time and the most popular series in Masterpiece history.  When the last episode in the series aired March 6, 2016 an average audience of 9.6 million viewers tuned in across PBS stations nationwide.

WOSU TV’s two highest-rated shows of 2016 were the first and last episodes of Downton Abbey: The Final Season.

Gareth Neame, Executive Producer of Downton Abbey commented, “We’re thrilled that a show no one could have predicted would have been such a huge hit in the U.S. as well as a global phenomenon went on to become so beloved and garner such a huge audience for its final season. On behalf of all the actors, producers and crew I would like to thank our many millions of fans in America for coming with us on this remarkable adventure.”

With winter making a late comeback, Sunday will be the perfect day to settle in with The Crawley’s. It’s been a little while since we’ve visited the 1925 English aristocracy.  It was a time of transition for the entire household. Get caught up in the story once again.

The Downton Abbey: The Final Season marathon kicks off  Sunday at 10am and concludes at 11pm.  We hope you’ll enjoy this special presentation.

The entire Downton Abbey series is available to watch on WOSU Passport. Watch it now or learn more about WOSU Passport.

At least you guys are treating him with respect. The rest of PBS is disgusting.

You are obviously not watching the same PBS as I am. Every series is fantastic and most well done!

Miss Fisher’s mysteries are the most well written and beautifully costumed show on television any country, any genre. I am from New Mexico, (not New and Not Mexico,). I watch this show with my grand daughters and we all love Miss Fisher. To end it at season 3 is totally unreasonable. Let’s get the gang back together and protest, write, blog, twitter or what ever to make them do more. I am a month from being 70, so I will write real letters. Jo White, USA.

      I agree.

Are you the Jo White who put the Mooney family history on the Everything Cherokee website?

Fishers mysteries, season 3 is over. Bummer. I am waiting for season 4. While I am waiting, how about a repeat of 1, 2, & 3. Doc. Martin, as Time Goes by, and Keeping up Appearance, do it. I would love to watch the repeats.
