Tornados

Monday marks the deadline for tornado victims in 11 Ohio counties to apply for federal assistance. The aid comes in response to a series of tornadoes that touched down in the state in March.

Thousands of people lost their homes and businesses in the tornadoes that tore through Kentucky last week. Now, residents are sorting out how to move forward and whether or not to rebuild.

The president will visit the state in "the coming days," Gov. Andy Beshear said Monday. "We will welcome him here, we will thank him for his help, and sadly we'll show him the worst damage imaginable, certainly the worst in our history."
