The Ohio School Safety Center is upgrading its equipment. The center will operate “shoot houses” so school staff armed with guns can practice facing an active shooter.

Ohio school districts could begin arming employees as soon as this fall under a bill signed into law Monday by Republican Gov. Mike DeWine.
