Equity Now Coalition Chair Jerry Saunders said the group is now encouraging people to vote for the Columbus City Schools' $100 million levy on the November ballot after initially sending a letter calling for it to be delayed for a year.

Columbus is among the smaller cities with the largest African American growth in pure numbers over the past decade.
