Tech Tuesday: Ohio State researchers working to preserve glaciers around the world

The U.N. General Assembly has proclaimed 2025 the year of the glacier.

It’s a call to action to raise awareness of the role glaciers, snow and ice play in the climate system.

A group of Ohio State researchers are at the forefront of preservation efforts and have been for decades.

It was the AI mic drop heard round the world last week, as Chinese start-up DeepSeek unveiled a chatbot to rival, maybe even surpass, U.S. versions.
