New documentary explores the evolving role of public libraries

The history and evolving role of public libraries in our communities.

That’s the topic of the documentary, “Free For All: The Public Library,” which will have a free screening on Jan. 29 at the Columbus Metropolitan Public Library, with a wider release scheduled for April.

During this hour of All Sides, we talk to the filmmakers and the CEO of the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
