This is an hour where we share stories about Ohioans whose dedication, drive and passion can inspire us all.
People whose passion and drive bring art and community together to help other artists create, to dream up the clothes and accessories we wear and to provide opportunities for new Americans.
We start with an organization that connects artists with the local community in Olde Town East.
We're also hearing from one of the key voices behind Fashion Week Columbus.
We then talk with a journalist who immigrated to Ohio and started a magazine for new Americans.
Guests:
- Britt Hackmann, president and founding member of OTE Arts
- Emily Marinangeli, secretary and founding member of OTE Arts
- Keira Chatman, executive director, Columbus Fashion Council
- Deba Uwadiae, journalist/editor-in-chief for New Americans Magazine
