Paris, Milan, and New York are seen as the fashion capitals of the world. But, what about Columbus?
It may surprise many people to learn Columbus is the leading metro city in the U.S. for professionals working in the fashion industry.
Ohio is also the corporate home to the retail outfitters Abercrombie & Fitch, DSW and Express.
In addition, design programs at universities around the state are contributing to the growth of the fashion business in the Buckeye State.
From mall fashion to up-and-coming designers, we’ll talk about Columbus’ role in the fashion industry during this hour of All Sides.
Guests:
- Celeste Malvar-Stewart, local fashion designer and fiber artist
- Aspen Grazier, fashion design student, Columbus College of Art and Design
