Domesticated pets are a large part of many peoples’ day-to-day lives.
They are always happy to greet us at the door, and are our cuddly companions at the end of the day.
But some pets have troublesome or confusing behavior that can leave owners scratching their heads.
Assistant Professor overseeing the Behavioral Medicine Service at The Ohio State University’s Veterinary Medical Center, Dr. Leanne Lilly, joins us today to explain the scientific rationale of different pet behaviors.
Support 89.7 NPR News and as your thank you gift, WOSU will purchase a Pet Care Package for Columbus Humane on behalf of your donation. This Pet Care Package includes bedding, toys, and treats. It also includes collars, leads, or leashes for use by Columbus Humane. Each donated Pet Care Package will assist Columbus Humane in their mission to fight animal cruelty, help animals in need, and advocate for their well-being.
