The recent GOP Senate debate took a nasty turn when candidates Josh Mandel and Mike Gibbons had an onstage standoff. Also, the Ohio Debate Commission has canceled plans for a Republican Gubernatorial debate after Governor DeWine declined to participate.
Political debates are viewed as job interviews for candidates. We’ll look at whether they hold much sway with voters.
