A Super Bowl ad touting Google Pixel 6 Real Tone technology as a way to properly capture darker toned skin explains the problem with past technology.

The innovation is a far cry from the days of the so-called “Shirley card” developed by Kodak for developers who used the image of a white woman -- named Shirley -- to tone and balance color images. Including those of black and brown people.

On today's Tech Tuesday we'll discuss adjusting our cameras to appreciate every skin tone.
