Two members of Ohio's State Board of Education - former Board President Laura Kohler, a New Albany Republican, and Eric Poklar, of Worthington - resigned last week after the Ohio Senate declined to confirm their appointments.
They were the only members of the 19-seat board to oppose the repeal of a controversial 2020 anti-racism resolution.
