Impact Of Unemployment Benefits On The Economy

This weekend at least 7.5 million people are projected to lose their pandemic unemployment compensation. This comes at a time when there is a surge in COVID-19 cases due to the delta variant.

Unemployment benefits served as a lifeline for many who were out of work or lost jobs.

On this hour, we’ll look at the impact unemployment benefits have had on the economy and with so many jobs available will we see open positions being filled?
