Governor Mike DeWine has thrown his support behind a legislative plan to give a hand up to Ohio’s two aging nuclear power plants.
FirstEnergy has warned that if the plants close, Ohio electricity consumers will pay more. The proposed measure would direct roughly $150 million a year to the company.
